Taking a bit of time for star gazing!
Feeling the vastness of the inky sky above me - dotted with teeny, tiny lights (that aren't really teeny tiny at all).
Thinking that these dots once guided sailors and travelers from place to place. Could it be, that by looking at them I can also find my way?
"Star light, star bright
First star I see tonight
I wish I may, I wish I might
Have the wish I wish tonight."
Well, I guess it depends on what path you are looking for. Certainly star gazing can guide us to our inner creativity or at the very least we will find a moment of inner peace.
ReplyDeleteThe heavens always carry much mystery. One of my very favorite places to be is under a starry sky, but I especially love the winter sky when the stars seem even further away.
Lovely doll with great eyebrows!

I hope you get your wish tonight...
ReplyDelete...and I'm sure this little darlin' will help you along the way!!

She's beautiful! I love stars and the star decorated hat sets her off a treat. :o)
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure there are still sailors who check their computer's workings by navigating by the stars - and if they can, so can you, even if in a different way!
ReplyDeleteShe's beautiful, Penny. I see you have been very busy since I went off to Ontario. I'm only now getting back into the groove.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you....I feel very small just looking up at the sky at night. It always amazes me that people can actually find their way through the stars.
