An early morning greeting of white in the middle of March.
Rhodies covered in huge snow balls.
The quiet of no one but me and my camera out on this cold and pleasantly snowy morning. "The snow began to fall again, drifting against the windows, politely begging entrance and then falling with disappointment to the ground." - Jamie McGuire, Beautiful Disaster
Somehow, the first snowfall of the year feels FAR more peaceful to me than the last. The first gives the feel of the end of one thing and the rest before the start of something new. The last casts feelings of resentment that for a moment it has taken away the anticipation of the change to Spring. It incites aggravation. xx, Carol
Lovely photos, Penny! The first of March turned much colder than our very warm February, but snow? In the last few days we have returned to 70's and 80's. Strange to see all that beautiful white stuff on the first day of Spring!
Love the puffball effect on the rhodies!
ReplyDeleteLovely and peacefully quiet photos.

ReplyDeleteWe still have a lot from Stella-and it snowed more today-I'm trying hard to be pleasant through it all-but I desperately want spring!!!
ReplyDeleteOnly a brief dusting of snow for us this year - I'm quite jealous!
