Time Keeper Moppet

Oh woe is me!  I was up until midnight on Saturday night turning all of our Moppet clocks ahead one hour!  Yes, I could have set them ahead earlier but personally I am quite  opposed to this time change so I refuse to make it any sooner than necessary

Whoever in the world thought this up to begin with?  A whole hour is lost -- just disappears with the turn of the clock hands.  Why would anyone think that is a 'good' thing.

Hmmm - first we gain a day (in February) and then we lose an hour in March.  Oh, my if only I ran the world (or at least had control of all the clocks) this kind of thing would never would happen.

"How did it get so late so soon?  Its night before its afternoon.  December is here before its June.  My goodness how the time has flew,  How did it get so late so soon?" - Dr Seuss

  1. Oh Dr. Seuss I wonder just that same thing all the time. We have one last clock to change. I told Terry to leave it be. It will be the right time in the fall, lol. I hate to change it because it is actually an alarm clock. For some reason when I switch it, the alarm gets set. We have come home before only to find that dang buzzer going off and the dogs all confused about wondering what that racket is. Hopefully I'll switch it today and remember to check that alarm!! We have WAY too many clocks in this house!!

  2. Sigh. We have that joy to come. If only we had a little moppet to fly around the house fixing it for us!

  3. I still can't get used to the change in time-this one is harder than the Fall change for me...

  4. This sweetie pie delights me, and I smiled my way all the way through this post! I love his little hat and sweater, and somehow I'm thinking you are working harder at fashioning their outfits. The little clocks are wonderful, and in spite of his demanding task at hand, he seems to be smiling. I grew up with daylight savings time, and I look forward to it after winter!

  5. Lovely. It is getting darker and darker here in the mornings here. I will be so pleased when our clocks go forward (I think!) but not until April 3rd. We are on it for far too long.
