Hemp
When I was working on "The Unlikely's" I discovered hemp. Quite by accident, in the craft section at Walmart. At the time I had no idea what I would do with it -- but it enticed me.
So many colors - and shades within colors. I soon found a use for it when I unraveled strands (they end up wavy) and attached them to the heads of The Unlikely's. Perfect!
Later I found that they make perfect loops for hanging dolls.
Now I am using it again in my latest adventure. As you can see I've collected just about every color on the shelves and I'm ready for anything.

The colours seem quite soft and subdued - very useful!
ReplyDeleteWonder watcha gonna do with that hemp!! I have a bunch because I was going to make bracelets. Now I got a handy dandy new tool so there are some knotted/beaded bracelets in my future. $12 to stash bust hemp and beads..win/win.
ReplyDeleteHave a really great weekend.

Lovely colors! Exactly what is hemp? What's it made from?
ReplyDeleteI use hemp, almost exclusively, for my hang-tag cord... after coming across it, much like you by happenstance. Daryle
