Today I am thankful for...

Sunshine

While walking these days, I'm aware of the warmth of sunshine on my shoulders.  I feel it sinking into my body, warming my bones.  Thankful am I.

I have been blessed to see the sun rise in the desert...

...the sun set over the ocean...

...the sun filter through the sheltering trees of the woods and forests.

Oh yes, I am ever so thankful.

"Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see a shadow." - Helen Keller

  1. I am thankful for 91. 91 WHAT you say? 91 degrees. South Bend set a temp record yesterday. 91 degrees, working outside with Terry until he got tired in the glorious sun. I am grateful for many things but 91 is pretty high on the list today.

  4. I'm always thankful that the sun can warm my heart as well as my body. Things never seem quite so bad in the sunlight.

  6. The sun shines here too in the UK right now, in that beautifully gentle English spring way - not 91 but around 22 and the flowers are blooming and the trees are out - delicious! It's been such a long grey wet winter.
