What have we here - upon a kite - waiting for a strong wind?
Perhaps these little bugs became hitch hikers in order to save their strength.
Perhaps they will land in a brilliant green garden where they can munch their way through these lovely spring afternoons.
"The Ladybug wears no disguises.
She is just what she advertises.
A speckled spectacle of spring,
A miniature fashion on the wing...
A miniature orange kite".

They are lovely. I'm sure they will land somewhere wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI don't know how, Penny, but now you've outdone yourself with this one! So much thought...a kite masterpiece.
ReplyDelete:) This one should appeal to everyone! Love the hitchhikers you included and the lines "A speckled spectacle of spring/A miniature fashion on the wing..."
ReplyDeleteBeautiful~
ReplyDeleteAdorable. In the part of England I come from, ladybirds are known as bishybarnybees. No idea why but I love the word. They can land in my garden any time!
