Wow!!!

Recently you saw my 'messy' table -- filled to the brim with this and that -- all leading me toward a new experiment.  And here that table is today!

Before beginning a new project I did a MAJOR clean out.  Oh my goodness -- it took me several days.  Not only did I clean off my work tables I cleaned out boxes.  Wow, what things you find when you take down a box and go through everything.

Who knows how long things will stay tidy -- but for now, not only is my studio cleaned and ordered it feels like my mind is also.

The Never Ending Task

It began so well.  Tidy and neat like a blank slate.

Organization with this and that all in its place.  No hunting around saying the mantra "I know its here somewhere".

Oops, getting a little'busy' here.  Where oh where did I put this or that - probably buried somewhere here.

Oh well, there will be plenty of time for clean up later on.

Chaos or Not?

It starts out pretty organized.  This and that laid out on my work table -- each one with a potential purpose.

It continues with fabric pieces laid out -- matching colors and patterns.  What will go with what?

It ends up like this. Almost total chaos.  Trim mixed in with thread and needles and pins.  Bits and pieces of this and that scattered hither and yon.  All with the hope that something recognizable, perhaps even magic will come out of what looks like the leftovers of a mini tornado.

Ms Clean!

A couple of postings ago I showed you my desk corner.  Shall we call it the 'corner of shame'? Recently I spent a good afternoon going through each and every little bit that was piled there and here is the result.  I know now exactly what I have and of course the fun part what I might need for future projects.

In the last posting I didn't show you these hanging shelves - I mean a person can embarass themselves just so much.  But take my word for it they were 'piled' high with papers of all sorts.  Quite a hodgepodge and a terrible mishmash considering that everything was all mixed up.  That was then, this is now...
