Uh Oh!

You can see that a bit of autumn has crept into my studio. Do you think it slipped in through a crack at the bottom of the door?

In truth -- I wanted to use these buttons and had trouble finding the right floss shades, so just went with what I had.

At least I was pleased with the loop levels of and the design.

  1. Your buttons are always so special! I'd have allowed them to sneak in early as well. Using floss colors you already had worked perfectly!

  3. I have to agree with others about your buttons--they add so much interest to each piece! And I love the kite's tail. :)

  5. Oh Penny. Autumn. REALLY? I would have stuffed a towel under the door and sealed that crack!! BUT. Stitching with what you have is always a good thing. And your kite is beautiful and somewhat symbolic. Autumn is the third season of the year and you have used 3 buttons. Cool!

  6. Those coppery colours remind me of the colour of some leaves as they open, so it's spring really!!
