Never in my life have I ever seen such a very small rabbit. Wherever did he come from? How in the world does he even make it through the brush and grasses without getting totally lost?
Well I guess the answer to that second question is that he doesn’t, very well at least. Surely he must know the secrets of map reading or perhaps just by nature he knows the way home.
For
now he’s resting with me. When I first
met him he was totally out of breath and on the verge of a panic attack,
although he looks quite calm now. At
least he is warm and dry. I hope I can
entice him to staying with me for a while at least.

ReplyDeleteWell, bunnies have very good smellers. Of course you have noticed how his nose is always twitching and sniffing. I'm sure his trek has caused him to tire easily since he is so small. Too bad mommy bunny didn't put one of those tracking devices on him like I have on my dogs. Then you could just scan it and help him home...or perhaps you want him to visit for a while...maybe he HAS a tracker...sorry I brought it up**
