"Consider Bliss"

These little winged ones continue to remind me that life is about more than getting up in the morning and moving through my day.  There is wonder and celebration and even bliss.

That word bliss - meaning lightness of heart; blitheness, glad joy of heaven - is actually, a complicated word. Is it something BIG that impacts my every so often?

Or is it an everyday companion, much like this gentle doll.  My days are filled with so many good things that giving thanks becomes routine.  Perhaps being fully aware and giving 'thanks' are the forms bliss takes in my life.

"Just think of any negativity that comes at you as a raindrop falling into the ocean of your bliss." - Maharishi Mahesh Yogi

  1. Giving thanks becomes a habit, then leads to bliss, the result of the habit. I love your phrase "my every so often"! Sweet doll!

  2. What a Darling doll/person!

...and I like the word "bliss" ...Joseph Campbell knew what he was talking about when he told everyone to "Follow theirs". It leads to absolute wonders!! :-)

  5. Bliss Is certainly a cute little lady. Bliss...extreme happiness. Extreme. Thinking about the condition of Bliss provokes a deep thought about the State of Bliss. Many would say they find no bliss. For me, "Find You Bliss" is simply the encouragement to realize a moment in the day that you felt truely happy. Many come my way!!

  6. Very sweet..and you're so very right about being thankful-sometimes it takes an effort, but once you start naming all the 'thankfuls', it becomes joyful....

  7. Bliss... now there is a concept that is somewhat less well known than it deserves!

  8. The key to happiness is a grateful heart, indeed. For me, bliss is that particular moment of perfect happiness and contentment - like walking through a wildflower meadow with the sun on your face and the breeze in your hair and being surrounded by hundreds of butterflies and knowing that you are witnessing something truly magical.
