Working on the challenge (good thing I have a deadline or it would never be finished).
Working on my next doll figure (which I want to work on 24/7 but can't).
Exploring my mind for the next 'type' of doll figure that I want to try (and fitting in a few experimental hours).
"I like the challenge of trying different things and wondering whether it's going to work or whether I'm going to fall flat on my face." - Johnny Depp
I have never been one to work on more than one project at a time, but it seems that has changed since I moved from my sewing machine to "armchair crafts". Making hexies, patches for a purse, an on line embroidery class that will start soon, crochet of course, and one more that is a secret until I see how it goes. Brother. I'm almost grateful for hot humid days...not.

Adventures aren't always found in the wide open spaces, are they...!
ReplyDeleteWow, hither and yon, and back again! The challenge pieces are great, but I know the tug of wanting to work on the doll until it comes to life!
ReplyDeleteI'm seeing something I didn't realize...you make and embellish your dolls flat before assembling and stuffing?
Speaking of "flutterby"...your quote gets my heart fluttering. Johnny Depp can fall flat on his face in my house anytime he wants! Lol, I'm old enough to be his mother.
More than one project - I seem to have dozens on the go! And there's nothing wrong with being a butterfly - I think that changing focus enables your creative subconscious to work on the other projects in the meantime. :o) Happy fluttering!
ReplyDeleteHaving lots of projects is a blessing...it's not having one that drives me nuts :)
ReplyDeleteI love that head and the hand - lucky finds!
