Yes, this mess is what comes of experimentation.  I've been spending the last week trying this and that.  Creating a 'might be' design and then 'messing' with it -- really messing with it. And making a general mess as I go along.

There were several technics that I had to explore in order to do what I want to do.  Some stitching and turning and trying and wondering.

And I've been led me to pull out my 'embellishment' stash and start to paw through it - again thinking, wondering, trying.

This is a 'to be continued' story...

"Experimenting with your own life is the most fundamental medium we have." - Natalie Jeremijenko

  1. It's only when we aren't afraid to make a mess that we can accomplish something really great! Looks like you're on your way to something very interesting :))

  2. This is so intriguing. Looks like you are going to have some wonderful adventures in creativity!

  3. Had to giggle at my first thought...when did Penny come to my studio and take a photo of the mess I've created there?! Lol, this will all result in genius!

  4. All this is playing is sure to lead somewhere interesting...

  5. I have always loved your messes!!
    [means somethin's brewing]

  6. We can only wait to see what you dream up this time. Its sure to be unique and interesting.
    xx, Carol

  7. Gathering is the first step in creating! I can't imagine how tidy people get snything done!!

  8. How I recognise that mess! Tidying up is SO boring and I do it as little as I can get away with and still manage to find space to work.
