" a diller, a dollar, a ten o'clock scholar!
What make you come so soon?
You used to come at ten o'clock;
Now you come at noon."
old nursery rhyme
Here's my 'Ten O'clock Scholar' - all decked out in flannel and corduroy for the cold days ahead.
He is reading so much better these days, since he got his glasses.
"There are perhaps no days of our childhood we lived so fully as those we spent with a favorite book." - Marcel Proust
!A very studious little fellow, for sure
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the eyes behind those glasses!! I'm glad your fella likes to read.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas.

He's wonderful and I can't imagine he'd ever dilly dally on the way to school!
ReplyDeleteWinter is being very good to you, Penny, as your wee folks are taking on true identities. I'd like to be a fly on the wall of your studio...you are having so much fun with these peeps! I can't remember ~ have you mentioned what their destiny is? Maybe you are creating a whole village?! ;>]]
ReplyDeleteSo sweet, Penny. So innocent and trusting.
ReplyDeleteHe is fabulous!!! And what a unique lil guy!
ReplyDeleteHe has a kind of 'Harry Potter' look about him...maybe it's the glasses.
ReplyDeleteReally cool doll!
