One Step, Two Step

I have never made a three-part punchneedle piece.  I have made multiples of the same design - but three different designs to be used on one wall hanging is new to me.

Each section must somehow blend with the other, while each having its own identity.

Exploration must be made of stitches, ways to combine, design and texture.

At this point it is two down, one to go.

"It's not just a question of conquering a summit previously unknown, but of tracing, step by step, a new pathway to it." - Gustav Mahler

  1. It looks great so far. I love the color choices, too.

  2. Penny, this is looking beautiful. I think you are achieving the blending very nicely!!

  3. Beautiful! I love the texture and colors you are using. I received a needle punch for Christmas and you have inspired me to dig it out and experiment.

  4. It certainly sounds like progress. Are you enjoying it!

  5. It's looking great, Penny - I love the fact that you can make a plan, and stick to it... I am working on two quilts, one idea, and a bunch of smaller works - creative ADD, perhaps?

Can't wait to see the big unveil - happy crafting!
