Testing 1, 2, 3...

I still have more Lickety-Split Ladies to be created, but the wanderlust bug has struck and I'm venturing through some new ideas.  Always fun to experiment.   A lot of trial and error...

 First some practice with legs...

Practice pieces, making notes as I went along.  Cautionary rules and regulations for myself...

All this time, my mind is wandering through doors, down halls, up stairs -- seeing what I want this small creature to become.  Isn't this just the best fun a person can have?

Treasures

These treasures sit on the corner of my work desk.  I continue to add to them - a bit of this and a bit of that.  They entrance me and engage me.

Occasionally I pull out some of my favorites, put them in a small dish and contemplate them.  What can I do with this one?  What early civilization does that one remind me of? How would I attach them so that are 'one' with the background?  These questions continue to spin within my head.

Will I really and truly choose one, or two or three to put into an as yet designed stitchery or will my 'stash' continue to grow with abandon?  Hmmm...

"Design Seeds"

Have you met Jessica Colaluca?  If not, you must do so...

I call her a color collector as she graciously shares with us color combinations along with lovely pictures.

I can't tell you how much I enjoy viewing this site - filled with nature, color and shade combinations I might never have thought of myself.

I've been trying to work with some new colors in my own life and Design Seeds  has given me a whole new world to discover.

Wander over to Jessica's site - I promise you'll be amazed.

Bits and Pieces - Doll-Wise

There are four different doll 'ideas' that I have -- names and themes that I have come up with.  Its time to put my imagination into motion.  The patterns have been created. The fabric has been chosen.  The fibers and some accessories have been stacked.

I'm ready to go.  Thanks for joining me on this fall into winter journey!
