I Ask Once Again...

... where is Spring?

The very first day of spring we awoke to snow on the ground.

Puffy, light snow that looked like miniature snow balls on the bushes and leaves.

Or perhaps it was like powdered sugar, leaving designs on the walkway.

It was very early in the morning and bitterly cold as I took these photo's and I kept thinking that this was Nature's trick on us -- telling us "you just think its spring".

"If winter comes, can spring be far behind?" - Percy Bysshe Shelley

  1. Yes! I totally hear you on this. Up here in Boston we still have piles left over from Nemo!

  2. Beth -- I know I shouldn't even be complaining, we've had it so much better than the Northeast and Midwest sections of the country - but just had to *smile*.

  4. We're in the odd position of having a couple of days of snowflakes whirling in the air, without having anything to show for it at all on the ground! Very odd...!

  5. Me thinks Spring must be sulking somewhere 'cos she sure doesn't seem to want to come out and play!

  6. It really wouldn't be so bad if we could just have sun! I would really like to know how many days the sun came out this winter. I suffer from SAD and its not getting better... at least we all seem to be in the same boat..or snowstorm!!

  8. None here, all rain. Love the patterns you discerned, but that's all, I hope!
