A Challenge

In January our InspiredArts group met.   We each brought this and that of 'stuff' that we no longer needed or would ever use.  We then laid it all out and went to each other's stack where we refilled our coffers with other people's stuff.  Quite fun!

The challenge (which is due later this month) is to create something, anything, using item(s) that we brought home from the exchange.   Here's some of what I came home with. Thankfully we don't have to use everything that we came home with.

I've collected a few 'new' items to add to my challenge piece.  More later...

Wonder What's In That One!

I have several weaknesses but the one to which I succumb most often is 'boxes'!

Little ones, big ones...

Cardboard, wood or wire.

Open or closed.

This is the only organization within my studio - each box has a purpose into which I stuff 'stuff'.

Not knowing exactly what is in any one box at a time gives me hours in which to paw through each and every treasure that I have saved.  What would I do without my boxes?

Stuff and Nonsense

Is there anything more enticing than a worktable filled with 'stuff' - unfinished, hardly begun, anticipatory 'stuff'?

I love to walk into my studio in the morning and see all sorts of 'goings on' - things that will keep these hands and this imagination going for some time to come.

Of course there does come a time when the 'stuff' overwhelms me and then my hands have to get busy and do a major clean up.  Meanwhile just think of the possibilities!
