The word 'organization' can become  a challenge or a rebuff.  Hey, don't 'people' expect crafters or artists to be a bit disorganized?  Isn't that part of our charm?

At this point in my life I find that I do better if I'm working in an organized area -- of course there's always 'stuff' around (supplies, unfinished projects, etc.) but even they can be organized.  Somehow 'organization' makes me feel like I might have a bit of control over at least  one part of my life. *smile*.

Each evening, as I leave my studio, I arrange everything to begin anew the next day. Its so easy to get sidetracked if I have to stop and 'go through stuff' before I even begin the actual punching.
Happy organization to you all!

"Organization isn't about perfection, its about efficiency. Reducing stress and clutter, saving time and energy and improving your overall quality of life." -  Christine Scal

  1. So organised, mine is left exactly the way it was when I left the room, usually chaos. I do tidy up between each project though.

  2. If I knew what I was going to need next, I could get it ready....!

  3. I hate to work in a mess but not sure my stuff is as organised as I would like though!

  4. I make occasional efforts, but since I always intend to come right back... :)

  5. One of the best things I've recently purchased is a simply 'silverware' holder. It has sections that hold floss perfectly so that at the beginning of a project I can sort through the on hand floss and put each color theme into the segments. Not that I always DO that *smile* but its there if I'm feeling organized. *smile*

  6. I agree-I have to have some kind of order to feel like I can create. But organizing the studio is helpful when I have an artists' block...

  7. Thanks for some other magnificent post. Where else could anyone get that type of information in such an ideal means of writing? I have a presentation subsequent week, and I am at the look for such information.
