Our library was in a basement, dark and dreary. But, the possibilites! The stories that would take me to other parts of the world, different times, new people - I would load up my arms and be filled with excitement. I still feel that way in the library, but more so now in the art/craft/fabric supply stores. I visited my first Dick Blick over the holidays and I was standing in the middle of an aisle gazing at all the possibilities surrounding me. I know my eyes were wide and mouth was agape. Your area is one of my favorites. My inlaws lived in Brevard and I loved visiting there. Wishing you a beautiful week.Jeanniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11367949314724875797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6506351075015078187.post-62081170412790948192012-01-18T12:22:02.517-05:002012-01-18T12:22:02.517-05:00Oh my gosh, I can finally comment!! I used to walk there really often and spend a lot of time looking for just the right book. I used to get in trouble all the time because I had "my nose in a book".

You are so right about having that same feeling in the stores I haunt now..even on line stores.

The need to create can be overpowering sometimes and always gratifying.
xx, CarolCarol- Beads and Birdshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11062821517519300477noreply@blogger.com
